What is the Project Backup program?

Project Backup program is designed to back up your projects you are working on at any time you want. It was prepared as a desktop program in the type of windows form app using the C # language and presented open to development.

In what situations will the Project Backup program help?

If you delete a project that has already been worked on, you can recover the project from existing backups *.
You may have made an incorrect operation in a project you are working on. And you may have recorded this transaction irreversibly. Do not be afraid! All your backups are safe! *
Let's say you are developing your project according to the current plan and there has been a radical change in the plan. Calm down! You have the best way to adapt your project to the new plan.*

You can easily reach your backups in any condition and in any difficult situation and continue where you left off.

What backup options does the Project Backup program offer?

Two backup options and four backup intervals are offered on the system. Backup options are presented as folder and archive. The backup interval is daily, weekly and monthly backups at every startup.

What is the recommended backup option in the Project Backup program?

Considering the backup options and intervals offered in the system, the preferred backup methods are shaped by the user and the project, but the recommended backup method is to take archived backups every time you run the project. In this way, you will minimize the losses.

As an additional precaution, you can combine your project backup folder with services such as Google Drive to instantly back up your backups to the internet.

What is in the content of the Project Backup program?

The system basically consists of three screens. These screens and their features are as follows.

Home page

This page is the most common screen of the program. Your projects included in the program are displayed on this screen. After the relevant project is selected, it is backed up if it is time to backup, if not, the environment where the project is developed is run.
1. By default, 12 projects can be assigned to the program. Of course, since it is a project open to development, you can download, edit and use it as you wish.
2. There are three color options in the program. Green indicates backup, orange indicates backup time, pink indicates no backup after project was added.
3. If there is a project less than 12 projects, a plus button will appear to help you easily add a new project to the program.
4. A default icon is selected while adding projects. The user will be able to select an icon belonging to his project as a project photo.
5. The project name is indicated on the right and the last backup time under it.

New Project

It is very easy to include your projects in the system.
With the interface prepared, you can quickly enter your project information, select the backup location and frequency, and choose the environment where you develop the project, and you can start working by feeling safe.
In this section, the location of the visual studio file should be entered as the program location, for example, if you are working with Visual Studio. In this way, after your project is backed up, Visual Studio will automatically start.
The most efficient method in the backup folder is, for example, you can define a folder that is synchronized with Google Drive and create your project backups here. In this way, every backup can be instantly backed up to Google Drive. Thus, even if your computer is broken, you can easily access your project backups.

Edit Project

You are in control of the projects you add.
You can edit the projects you have included in the system on the project editing interface.
In the project editing process, you can change and update the contents such as backup frequency, program path, project folder as you wish. You are in complete control.
If you wish, you can remove completed or canceled projects from the system and gain more space.

* To ensure the security of your projects, at least one backup must be taken. There is no security provided for projects that have never been backed up.

** Your backup folders must be backed up on the internet with services such as Google Drive so that you can access your backups in case of system crash, theft, and corruption on your computer.
